12 noon to 1pm, non-NIH dancers are welcome. We cycle through all the dances and like to introduce new dances. Instructor is Dennis Askwith. Cost: none.

Visitors can park at the Visitors Center parking on Rockville Pike and take a shuttle to Bldg 10 or keep their cars and park under Bldg. 10. The Location is Building 10 Clinical Center, 1 Southeast Atrium. Using the floor plan , go the Main Lobby of the Hatfield Center, take the East Corridor (located just to the left of the Pharmacy) to the end and through the wooden door. September 2, Every Thursday, Country Dance with Dean & Dawn Garrish at Mt. Airy Firehall, Mt Airy, MD.

The doors will open at 7:00 for practice. At 7:30 we will teach a line / specialty dance and at 8:00 we will teach a couples dance. No partner is required. October 8, Friday night Swingin' the Bluess at Glen Echo Park's Bumper Car Pavilion, 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD.  Map & drections.

Lesson from 8 - 9 pm, dance from 9 pm - midnight. This night offers dancers a choice of two different lessons: West Coast Swing with Ken Roesel or a Slow Blues lesson with Mike and Donna from 8 - 9 pm. The lesson is followed by great live music. Please check back for more details about the band. The social dancing of our Swingin' the Blues will have about 50% slow blues tunes and 50% slow swing numbers. The $14 admission includes the lesson.
